We’re renaming Dorset Alert – pick your favourite option!

Back in 2014 we launched Dorset Alert and have been communicating with around 22,000 members of the platform across Dorset since.  

In the summer we will have access to new modules, which will allow us to survey the public automatically through the platform, determine exact locations of issues affecting our members, create better processes for speaking to our seldom-heard communities and improve our effectiveness internally, building on the current messaging service we provide. Ultimately, we will be able to better understand your views, action them and report back on how we’re tackling issues that matter most. 

We will continue to send messages to alert our members about what is happening in their area, but we will provide greater focus on engaging and responding to your concerns through the system. 

We’re looking to give the platform a new name to reflect the broader tools we have to engage with our residents.
